I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Petal Potpourri and a little of the Sweet Taffy DSP to make a quick and bright thank you card to share today. The Petal Potpourri stamp set didn’t make it into the big catalog, so it will likely not be available after June 2 and the Sweet Taffy DSP is on the retiring list, so it’s only available while supplies last. So if you’re interested in either of these items, you’ve only got a few days to grab them!
My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #186.
The colors for my card were inspired by Pals Paper Arts 251.
And the flower for my card was inspired by Can You Case It #70.
I started by stamping the sentiment from the Crazy About You stamp set across one of the strips in the Sweet Taffy DSP in Tempting Turquoise ink.
I adhered the DSP panel to a panel of Tempting Turquoise card stock with SNAIL, then to a Melon Mambo card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the flower images from the Petal Potpourri stamp set in Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight inks three times on a panel of Whisper White card stock.
I punched the flower images out with the Flower Medallion Punch, then curled the tips of the petals slightly with my Bone Folder. I adhered the flowers together with Glue Dots and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I adhered a strip of the leftover Sweet Taffy DSP to a Whisper White card stock panel inside the card.
